I’ve been reading too much Patrick O’Brian. The other day I was at the mall and I overheard two women talking. One said to the other, “…they put on more sales.” And I had the overwhelming urge to ask “Topgallants or Staysails?”
Last time we were in Antwerp I spent an inordinate amount of time explaining to my mum why she couldn't call everything in sight a ship. She just looked at me, blinked, and suggested dinner. ^^; Ah, obsessions.
