Tried to post in old post editor and it failed

Jan 03, 2025 04:37

I wrote a whole New Years post with the idea that I'm going to start journaling again and it didn't show up because I was in the old post editor?

That's just rude Livejournal.

I didn't want to use this newfangled post editor! And now I can't remember everything I wrote.

Something about it's been 5 years... and getting married, and cancer....

Hey, moonlady! Sorry, but both Live Journal (and Fanfiction) have pretty much faded away as far as Ugly Betty stories go. There are VERY FEW of us diehard writers left, I'm afraid. I am one of three administrators left on this site, and I haven't posted or even come on here other than to try and sort through the "archive" to try and copy and paste several of my old stories from years ago over onto Archive of Our Own. I have many of my stories posted there and even have a few die-hard readers still commenting on them if you want a place to post your new story where there are still readers. I'm also Hawaiigal52 over there (even though I'm ACTUALLY 64 now IRL! Lol!) Let me know if you need any help navigating things there, but it's much less complicated than this site!

Happy New Year, by the way!

Lauralee

I'm Nekuyo over on AO3.

I don't write as much as I'd like anymore, and I don't think I ever posted my Detty stuff on there. I might dig up my old 'Chasing Ms. Suarez' stuff and post in on AO3 for posterity, though I don't think I'll actually finish it. I've completely forgotten where I was even going with it.

I totally understand what you mean. I have started WAY more stories than I've really finished! I'm always guilty of starting one story, then getting stuck trying to decide where to go with it so I start another one and never end up going back to finish the first one!
