ninth night // voice post

I might need to get more coffee if this lasts too long. But if I do try to get some now, there will be interference along the way. A waste of time better spent elsewhere.

Two, do tell me if "guests" are coming. I shall greet them properly, as always.

[ooc; Yoru's in the library reading like he always does, being the indifferent bastard he is. ( Read more... )

[Skating through the halls, M!Haru has been exploring the oddity of the Real Side mansion. He lacks expression and interest in most things as he opens doors randomly hunting for people. However the library is large and requires far more searching. When he happens across Yoru, he raises a brow.]

"Who are you?"

[The mirror rarely spoke to or noticed other mirrors on a regular basis. He suspected the boy might be one of his kind.]

"I am a bystander merely observing what is happening in this place." A bystander who used to act as a caretaker and guard, but a bystander nonetheless.

After replying, the child takes a sip from a nearby coffee cup while presumably reading the open book on the table.

ooc: If you want me to stop using the male pronoun I will but I think he pretty much assumes that the kid is male

[M!Haru frowned ever so slightly. The answer was acceptable to him however....it made the child even more...unusual. For what he knew of the mansion's inhabitants....they lied and behaved emotionally. It was pleasing to see.]

"Even bystanders can be come casualties." It was not a threat merely a statement of the truth. "Don't die here."

[ooc; It's fine! If you mean the other post, it's because I myself keep forgetting and needed to have a reminder, whoops. -faaaaailuuuuureeee- ;;;]

"Perhaps so, but I'll take the risk." He closes the hardcover book with a quiet thump. But he stays seated, only moving to crane his head in the other's direction. The motion is fluid in an almost mechanical way. "And I won't die so easily at any rate."

While his voice is still rather deadpan and his expressive stays passive, he manages to say that last part with something akin to amusement. Or maybe not. It's always hard to tell with these kind of people.

[Eve is reading a book on the chaos theory when she runs into him. In an emotionless tone she inquires:]

What are you reading?

[He replies in an equally deadpan voice, only looking up slightly from his book.]

A book on physical phenomena. Currently I am reading about the butterfly effect.

Yes. I've been meaning to read more about the chaos theory lately.
