It's no secret that I've had a crush on America Ferrera for a while, but this morning's email from the Human Rights Campaign contained this:

"Voting no on Prop. 8 is not just about gay rights, it's about preserving the integrity of equal rights in this country. This is not about being gay or straight, it's about being American ( Read more... )

We talked about this. The places you see on the other side of Whisman that almost match your tract of homes?

Okay, it's the same place. I think of that place as close, but not "across" and I was wondering if someone was going to rent their townhouse in our neighborhood. But that would be silly because the townhouses don't have yards and you want a yard.

Well it's across the major street that you live in a tract off of. Sorta like BevMo is currently across the street from me, I suppose. :)

OK, this is getting more promising by the minute. Obvs we are not close enough to a proper drinking establishment (i.e. DBs) but we do have ready access to other train-related activities. Also, you will be close to Clocktower and can also obtain fine stimulants from Bug, Breeze and Benz.

Multiple pet-friendly options are $$$$$$$$. Bring it on!

Clocktower isn't much of a draw for me, personally, but I suspect Ms. H-S will enjoy it immensely. Should we choose this complex, that is. Might see if we can tour the place this weekend. :)

I have found that I am slipping back into the days of "every waking minute is spent drinking coffee or plotting where the next one is coming from." Although it's much more decaf these days...

Yeah, I can't do more than 1/2 cup a day at most, and even that is creamed to hell and back. I am decaf girl.

I still think America is a funny name.

For a person, I mean. For a country, it's well established enough that it no longer seems funny. :P
