• Minnie's tumor was absorbed back into the muscle tissue while we were on vacation. We got our dear kitten back on Monday night -- minus a large patch of fur on her back, a small patch on her arm -- all groggy, happy and whole.

Feliway diffuser? (One of our cats is insistant on peeing by the front door. Ugh.)

For about $35 it emits a pheromone that calms cats. Our hyper-destructive one, Simon, has not been interested in attacking Minnie nor in scratching our new couch. Nor has he peed on anything in the last week. We consider all this a minor miracle. The refills are about $22, though and they supposedly last only 30 days. So it's pricey in the long run, but we are soooo much happier right now, I can't even express.

Can you get those for academic administrators who wig out about encryption? Maybe some sort of margarita misting device? They're already acting out and I need to get something to calm them before the scratching/peeing stage...
