Usually when I bake something, be it cupcakes or brownies, I usually follow a box recipe with minimal effort put in. The food is always delicious and there is very little mess to clean up, so it is all good.

I ran across some wonderful doggie biscotti recipes a while back, when my sister and I were doing dog treats for several families for Christmas. One was for squash or pumpkin biscotti that came out a wonderful golden colour ... except that, in honour of the holiday, I rolled out the dough and cut it into stars, instead. :-) Thus proving that the dough texture required for either variant is pretty much the same.
