CHARACTER'S NAME: Kitayama Fuyuki
AGE: 16
BIRTH DATE: December 31th
HOMETOWN: Kyoto
OCCUPATION: Student, and does several other odds jobs to afford billing, food, school expenses and etc. He also does a lot of voluntary activities, such as taking care of older people and things like that.
GRADE: First Year (He barely manage to pass middle school and actually never singed up for high school 'till now)
CLUBS: Music club (if it's already opened, otherwise he plans to)
SEX: Male
LEVEL: N/A
PLAYED BY: Mizushiro Hizumi from Spiral: Suri no Kizuna (well nobody ever apped that Hizumi PB so I'm stealing it )': )
WEAKNESSES: Since he's still in rehabilitation, he might have a crisis every now and then. He might be extremely irritable and gets angry rather easily if that happens, and it's generally better to completely avoid him on such moments, as he can get violent as well.
Although he knows it when he's wrong, it's extremely hard for him to admit it, and generally finds over 9000 excuses to explain he wasn't actually at fault. He's also rather spoiled and sometime can be bratty, but he's doing his best to change.
Fuyuki is also rather easy to manipulate, and he does little to nothing to actually rebel in a situation he doesn't like: he's also the type of person who would rather run away than actually face his own problems.
STRENGTHS: Fuyuki doesn't, unfortunately, have many strengths. Really, although he has many talents, I think his only strength is that he actually tries his very best at everything and has a strong wish to change himself. He's good in art and is a very talented musician (he plays violin and piano rather well, and is average with a few other instruments), he's also good at sports and doesn't do extremely bad at school in general, but is just average in that field.

PERSONALITY: Fuyuki is a nice kid, for the most part. He's easy going, funny, and always ready to help out or jump on some crazy adventure. Really, you could say he's the perfect boy. On the most superficial side, at least.
Actually, he's extremely flawed. He'd been spoiled for the most part of his his life, and because of this he's used to get everything he wants when he wants it. He can act bossy, childish and rather immature, and you could say he's quite the coward, as he extremely dislike to actually deal with serious issues or his own problems, preferring to actually turn a blind eye or run away.
He doesn't take his own responsibilities and prefer to blames other for his failures or faults instead.

He isn't exactly stupid, nor unable to actually takes things seriously, however, he feels extremely uncomfortable and out of place in such situations. He doesn't think he's able to deal with it at all, therefore he gives up before even trying, fearing he'll end up failing.

Fuyuki is actually a rather passive person, although it would be hard to tell, especially when he gets all bossy. He's not the type of person who would stand for what he beliefs in, at least not easily, and prefers to just let things go by. Even in a situation that he extremely dislike, he would do little to nothing to actually change that.

As you can see, he doesn't really have many good traits, however, he is truly trying to change himself for the better, as he doesn't really like himself. He's really doing his best, although his natural rejection of failure and criticism is preventing him from being successful. Obviously, he's trying to change that too, but it's relatively hard for him.
After he realize just how much of an idiot brat he was in a certain situation, after the denial phase he usually goes to the depressed one, then finally to the "I WON'T GIVE UP I'LL CHANGEEEEE" one.

He's rather hyper and if you actually have a lot of patience he can seriously be a great friend, as he's actually quite caring and can be really cute sometimes.

Fuyuki loves music, very much, actually. He likes all kind of music but to be frank, his favorite is classical. While everyone might have 1080 and/or heartlock stored in their MP3 players, he has Bach, beethoven, Mascagni, Shubert, Vivaldi and so on. He honestly have a great passion for it, although it's rather odd for such a young boy.
He also loves to play music, and he's skilled with piano and violin. As I wrote in his strengthens section, he has many talents.

BACKGROUND: Fuyuki is another one of these spoiled, rich kids. He grew up ordering people around for silly things like "hey buy me some ice cream", and he'd been used to have whatever he wanted whenever he wanted it. Beside, you know, affection.
Just like in many, many other rich families, his parents never were at home, and when they was, they never payed him much attention. Fuyuki had an older sister who actually took care of him, but it never was enough for him.

He felt rather lonely, but never did anything to explain his feelings. Quickly, he begun to search attention somewhere else, and it wasn't bad, really, he made some friends, he was having fun, and everything was just great!
Despite, you know, things were boring every once in a while, so he said to himself "well, let's try!" and started using drugs. He wasn't really addicted at first, he only did it once in a while. But you see, things quickly got out of hand, and after experiencing the typical brief pleasure of cocaine, he couldn't help but wanting to experience it more and more.

It became clear he was abusing drugs quite soon, although his parents honestly couldn't care less. His sister was a different story, though. She tried to help him in several ways, several times, but to no avail. Fuyuki was already at a point where he didn't care much about anything else but getting his dose, he even stopped taking his music lessons and practicing, something he had always loved to do.

In the end, he became such a shame he even got disowned. Not wanting him to end a prostitute or God knows what, his sister actually rented an apartment just for him, providing him things such as food and etc. Of course, she did that secretly, as both her husband and parents would have been quite against her protecting a parasite. She really, truly wished to help his brother, but as she was weak to his pleading, she often ended up helping him get a dose whenever he looked in too much pain to bear it.

"This will be the last time", "I'll stop after this", "I promise I'm not going to take this anymore"-- those were his most frequent words. He never really had any intention to actually stop, he just kept saying what he knew his sister wanted him to say.

Until, finally even his sister got tired of it. It's not that she stopped caring, actually, she just realized that if she wanted to really help him, she had to be harsh. Of course, Fuyuki realized it much later, but when she gave up on him and stopped helping him, she thought she was a total bitch. Well, he didn't mind that much at all. He had everything he wanted after all, so who the hell cared.
As he was kicked out once again, he begun to live on the streets, and did all sort of things in order to actually get a dose. He even lived with an old lady for a little while (until he was kicked out again for stealing money).

Most probably, he was going to live a (short) miserable life if it weren't for his brother-in-law. Well, that man really didn't do anything good in itself, but he made Fuyuki finally feel ashamed of himself and wish to change.
It was a chance meeting, both of them really didn't expect it, but it happened.
Fuyuki was working on the streets, like usual, and his brother-in-law just so happened to pass by while going back home. Disgusted at seeing how that kid ended up living, he simply commented "I can't believe my daughter has such a despicable uncle". That comment hurt more than anything, as not only it made him realize how low did he sunk, he even understood that his sister actually got a child and he knew nothing about it. He really, truly was out of the family, even for his sister.

He tried to visit her the day after, but she refused to even open the door, telling him that until he became a better man, she wasn't going to see him or to let him see his niece. Well, she did pass him a photo through the door, when he asked it, but that was it.

This time really determined to change and stop abusing drugs, Fuyuki quickly grabbed his few belongings and moved to Iwatodai, he even singed himself on a rehab center (...assuming there are some in Japan?) nearby. The reason he moved? He thought distancing himself from old company who would have just dragged him down, and actually starting a new life in a new city, would have been better.

As of now, Fuyuki is obviously hiding his past as a teen drug abuser, and he'd been living with an old man he did voluntary service for, who took a liking on him. He simply calls this man "Grandpa", and he's quite grateful to him for his help, especially 'cause the old man knows of his past and actually believes in him and his will to change. Fuyuki is doing his best with several jobs to help with all the expenses and actually pay for his own things, and he also does a lot of voluntary services. He likes to keep himself busy, partly so he can distract himself from his craving for cocaine.

he'd been a drug user for two whole years, and hasn't touched any drug for 5 months now.

Random Facts:

- Underneath his superficial nice personality, he hides a terrible, cowardly one.
- He's actually trying to change himself for the better, not just his life.
