I started reading Wicked... wow, totally not what I was expecting based on the songs from the musical. Very dark, adult, and bizarre. At least it starts out that way. I'm not sure what to think of it. I definitely don't love it. But I'm only 100 pages in... maybe my opinion will change... it's seeming a little too Harry Potter-esque for me with all

You really have to force yourself through almost the first half of Wicked, but it's really good (it;s actually better if you give it a second go, because a lot of the themes are easy to miss the first time around).
