anyone missing a box turtle? (this is a long shot, but i want it to find its owners!)

So a couple who was taking a walk asked my mom if we were missing our turtle. My mom says, "Yes" because our turtle constantly gets lost when she goes for walks, but usually ends up hiding in a corner less than 2 feet where she started the walk

awww....I like box turtles. But we're not missing ours. She's still in the tank she can't get out of. how big is yours?

well, the one we officially own is the same size as the stray turtle except ours is obese and can't hide completely in her shell.
the stray one is sleeping a LOT and not eating at all. i hope it's not sick. but we're going to give it away if i can't find the owners.
our other box turtle - we've had it since I was 8 or 9 years old, i believe.

we had one when I was about that age. but those little buggers can move fast. we put her down in the garden for about 2 minutes and never found her. Until a few years ago when my mom found her bones. *sigh*
