I arrived at the Mall of Asia Ecom building at about 3 pm to meet up with some Cookistas over at Pinoyexchange. People who didn't have reserved seats were already lining up. It was only the second time I met up in real life with people who I only know from the internet, the first time being when we went to Cook's mall "tour" over at SM North Edsa. They're a really great group of fans, I swear! Anyways, moving on....
My bestie and I entered the Concert Grounds at nearly 7 o'clock in the evening. Before we went to our seats, we bought two bottles of water (very important considering all the screaming we were about to do) and saw Jomari Yllanna pass by. I freaked out for a second. I must be really crazy! Haha. :))
The concert began at about 8:30 (late! LOL).
David Archuleta
David Archuleta starts it off with a bang! He sings my favorite song from his eponymous debut album, Touch My Hand. He enters from the back, wearing plaid and looking really cute. The crowd went wild, and in the end the monobloc chairs didn't matter much (until later) because most of us were standing up anyways. Here's a video I took:

It's a bit shaky and not very close, but the audio's good (if you don't hear me shrieking my head off, that is). In fact, the audio was just fantastic that night. Even if you weren't inside the concert grounds, you could hear it really loud and clear. The fancy light show was off the hook. Amazing.
In a sea of people, there was only you....
My memory of Archie's set was pretty vague, to be honest. I only got to video three songs from his set because I swore to video the entire set of the latter half of the show. (Eep. Sorry!) I think he sang Barriers after Touch My Hand, but I could be wrong. A Little Too Not Over You is his third song. Here's the video:

I was actually singing along!

Archie sings a song he co-wrote (which apparently did not make the album) named Zero Gravity. I like the beat, it's really fun. Another song which he sang that was not part of the regular album (I think it's in the deluxe version, though) was Waiting for Yesterday. Really good song, but I have no video of it.
Pretty close shot.
The guy's all smiles, I swear.
Archie with Mike (I think...or is it Alex?) and Kendra.
If I remember correctly, there were three songs which Archie did on the keyboard: To Be With You (before which he introduces the band and during which the only female, Kendra, sings Kara DioGuardi's harmony while playing the violin), Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles (the first song he ever learned to play...I absolutely freaked out when I found out that was the song he was singing), and Robbie Williams' Angels. I'm not at all sure during which song Denise took this picture.
There must be about nine ELEVEN screens!
The drummer over at the left is Eli. I sorta got to meet him later, when I waited at the second floor lobby at EDSA Shangri-La for the exclusive East Bar function to end. (Probably more about that later.)
I tried to take a picture of the jumbotron over to the left of the stage (which was set-up for those over at the VIP), but instead I got a clear picture of a Team Archie fan which someone was distributing earlier. The people to our left and right both had these Archie fans, so we were like Cook fans sandwiched in between. :))
I like these two shots, albeit they're not zoomed in. Look at the keyboard--it says "Roland." I don't know about you, but I find that very amusing! He really does support Big D, doesn't he? Haha! Speaking of Cook, he was actually watching Archie over at the dark side of the stage. I tried to take a picture or two but my camera wasn't cooperating. He was really distracting me from Archie's performances, to be honest. :))
He also sang Don't Let Go, My Hands, You Can, Stand By Me (he still included Beautiful Girls there, like how he did in American Idol despite copyright issues), and Your Eyes Don't Lie.
He ends his thirfourteen-song set with his hugely popular first single, Crush. Overall, a great set! But this is only the beginning...more squee later!
