So many wonderful authors have already joined this community for different fandoms. I figured I would try it as well, but more as inspiration for my original works. I have been lax in this area and I need to work at developing stories around my own characters and ideas, instead of ones that are precreated. I usually just lack inpiration. Well, ( Read more... )

Hey Audra and Audra's blog... wow, I dont come up here often... ahh, original characters. I write tooooooo, and I have two pieces of advice-

1.) You can begin with writing original characters to interact with unoriginal ones, and develop them likewise until you can make them do awesome awesome stuff, then develop characters to interact with them. That's what I do [or did] sometimes...

2.) Make up an interesting story and attatch a character to it, irony, etcetera.

3.) Write about yourself leading a parade of hyenas into Hitler's army. or something equally stupid or meaningless. those stories realy excersise the mind.... blargh... [mind explodes]
