With a saddened sine
He waved goodbye
Our meeting caved, and I retreated.
Inches from home, I recalled the glove. 
Did he see it?
I hope he saw it.
I hope he grabbed it...
He was Trigonometric in nature -
Simple
           yet complex
The magnitude of our embrace battled with my brain
The function of our rendez-vous was to remember
