What are the chances?   Aaaargh!!!

I've got a first date tomorrow with a new man; a lunch date.  Wonderful you may think  . . . and so did I.

I'm off to bed very soon but felt a little "peckish" so decided to have a small bowl of Special K - all soft and mushy.  Half way through and what should happen but a crown from the front, top row of my teeth ( Read more... )

Tell him the truth, You lost a crown and the dentist couldn't fit you in until... If he is understanding and sympathetic, great, if not, maybe you don't want a second date.

if you want something really temporary get some denture adhesive. they use it to hold on temporary bridges and stuff like that ( ... )

I agree with Lironess: Either the denture adhesive or the superglue.
If you don't feel you can trust either one, try calling the dentist first thing and ask him what he'd do in this situation.

Not quite sure whether you can get the stuff where you are (where in the world are you?) but where I am (in the UK) you can find emergency dental repair kits at big pharmacies. It has the stuff dentists use for temporary fillings and has stuff to hold crowns.

Edit: Your profile says you are in London. Try a big Boots or Superdrug ...
