The second date didn't go so well.  I discovered a lot about this man's character and decided that there was no way forward for us.   So, that's that.

I'm not being too picky, I'm simply being realistic about the kind of relationship I want.  I have enough life experience and relationship experience to read people pretty well.

OMG by all means BE PICKY!!! You must not settle for someone who is going to make you miserable. I did and I wasted my youth laying in bed reading to escape the the behavior of the asshole who was my husband.

You deserve to have a wonderful man in your life who adores you.

I have to be picky and I won't just settle for anyone.

Going to see the dentist tomorrow about the crown. That stuff I bought from the chemist has lasted for a week now - not bad.

Good for you, romantic relationships are overrated anyway. I find couples annoying, and I especially hate it when people get married. Whenever someone tells me they're getting married I just want to smack them. The absolute worst is all these couples who get married after knowing each other for a matter of months. They have this giant wedding that costs a lot of money and everyone has to buy a suit or dress and go, then a few years later after having that big production they get divorced because "hey, we really didn't know each other that well and now we realize we hate each other." Durrrr!!!! I refuse to go to a wedding of a couple if they've known each other for less than a year, my response to them is "I'll go to your next one."

But what was it specifically about this man that made you end it? Just out of curiosity.

There were a number of things and it's hard to be specific. I saw some of his traits, attitudes and characteristics and knew that I wouldn't want to be with this man in the future.
