You are much better off than me or most of the people I know, language-wise. I was far luckier than most people in high school. By the time I graduated, I'd had a year of French in third grade, a year of high school Spanish, and a year of Latin. I took enough classes in Spanish while I was in college to receive a Minor in it but, like you, I never had anyone to practice on. Being able to practice what you've learned is the key to it all, I think. :)
I've always been interested in languages and have taken classes on and off throughout my life. I will always take the opportunity to learn a new language even if it is only at a very basic level - even a few words. It's interesting to find out how a language is structured. :)
