Leeteuk’s voice echoed through the stadium as he sang the last chords of ‘She’. Everyone watched in awe as he slid a ring through Kang Sora’s finger.
“Wow~! As expected of Leeteuk hyung!” Ryeowook said with a tone of excitement. Shindong, Eunhyuk and Yesung stood with him backstage monitoring their leader’s solo performance.
“He’s such a romantic... that hyung.”
“When it comes to girls... he’s like that. Tsk.”
“....”
As soon as Leeteuk and his ‘wife’ went backstage, the Super Junior members excitedly patted him on the back, shook his hands and praised him on his grand proposal.
“Thank you!” Leeteuk said. “If it wasn’t for Siwon’s engagement rings, I couldn’t have done this!”
“Siwon?” Shindong and Eunhyuk snorted. “He doesn’t even know you’re married to Sora!” They laughed as they walked towards their waiting room.
“Siwon will be surprised to find out that you’re already married!”
“And thanks to his engagement rings, our leader hyung just got a million points from Sora!”
Eunhyuk and Shindong hi-fived each other - finally after a series of awkward moments with Sora, Leeteuk was able to leave a strong and definitely an unforgettable impression on the actress. And it’s all thanks to Siwon’s -
“Hyung! Did you just say Siwon’s engagement rings? Like it’s Siwon’s.. Siwon’s rings?”
“Engagement rings... the ones they use when people are to be married? Those engagement rings?”
Leeteuk just smiled and motioned for the two men to follow him inside an empty room.

“Why are we here so early in the morning?” Shindong yawned. “The concerts ended well right? So can we just get a day off? Or a half-day off? ”
“I think the company wanted to talk to us.” Sungmin shrugged.
“Maybe it’s because of you two!” Leeteuk pointed out at Eunhyuk and Donghae. “Your performance was supposed to be a ‘solo’. You sang it like it was your couple song...”
Donghae giggled. Eunhyuk tried to explain. “Hyung, it’s called ‘teamwork’. The fans liked it anyway. Besides, who here had to surprise every fan with a proposal to Kang Sora huh?” Leeteuk blushed as the whole group started re-enacting his proposal.
Kyuhyun, who was sitting besides Siwon, smiled as the older man placed an arm around him. “I know what you’re thinking.” Siwon shot a puzzled look at Kyuhyun.
“Promise me you won’t be doing any of that... that kind of proposal in front of thousands of people. That’s embarrassing. Really! I would kill myself and then you, if you do that!”
“So you’re admitting that you are my wife since I would be the one proposing?” Siwon laughed as Kyuhyun playfully punched him on the sides.
“Bring that up again and I'll pluck out your shibrows!” Kyuhyun attempted to pull out Siwon’s eyebrows but Siwon being the faster one, grabbed Kyuhyun’s hands and pulled him in closer for a kiss.
“Get a room you two!” Eunhyuk said, irritated.
“Jealous? Go get your fish then.” Kyuhyun smirked.
“Guys! Food supports!” The staff yelled out. The boys stood up to take a look at the large box delivered to their practice room. Out of the box came individual food boxes with all sorts of food - chicken, beef, kimchi, side dishes, sweet cakes...
“Oh good! I looove food supports!” Kyuhyun said. Leeteuk gave him a sharp look. “...a-as much as I love our dear fans! Our fans are the best!”
Donghae was about to tweet how he loved ELFs food supports when he noticed the orange sticker at the side of the box.
“Heeey... these are not from ELFs. Look here!”
Ryeowook lifted it and read the sticker - ‘Siwon oppa~ Thank you for taking care of Lee Siyoung. We love you! ♥'
Sungmin immediately grabbed the boxes away from Kyuhyun. Siwon kept his hands away from them and moved closer to the maknae while Donghae put his down and looked carefully at Kyuhyun. Everyone was eyeing him carefully.
“Whaaat? Why are you all looking at me like that? It’s still food, though. And you shouldn’t be wasting food!” Kyuhyun said. He opened one box and picked up a piece of carrot. “Go on. Eat!” Kyuhyun ordered as he munched on the vegetable.
Siwon slowly picked up his food, eyes still on the maknae. Kyuhyun smiled and continued eating. Strange, Siwon thought. Usually Kyuhyun would be scolding him for being too nice to girls or for even looking at them - or in this case, Kyuhyun should have already gone berserk with the food boxes - instead of chewing on a piece of carrot. Thinking that Kyuhyun has changed his ways, Siwon opened up his food box.
“H-hey! You already have your own food and now you also want mine?” Siwon asked as Kyuhyun grabbed the food box away from him. Kyuhyun glared at him.
“Who knows what those fans could’ve put in your food! You might be allergic to this kind of food, I should taste this first!”
Siwon watched as Kyuhyun took a spoonful of each dish and tasted them. He was pretty sure he wasn’t going to get his food back when Kyuhyun tilted the container and emptied the contents into his mouth.
“Kyu! Slow down! You’ll end up with a stomach ache!”
“Shud uhp! Youw canh eat thees! Istoopid food suphort.”
Siwon continued to protest but still Kyuhyun ate the food hungrily. As Siwon watched Kyuhyun devour his food, one of their managers called out to him. The manager handed him a small bag tied with a pink ribbon which he quickly hid as soon as he read the tag attached to it.
“Whas thaht?” Kyuhyun asked, his mouth still full with Siwon’s food.
“Nothing. No! Kyu! Give it back! Please don’t...”
“What the hell..”
“..open it.”
Siwon could only sigh when Kyuhyun opened the bag. Kyuhyun swallowed his food and stared at the contents of the bag. Inside the bag were fan letters - to Siwon from Lee Siyoung’s fans.
“Siwon oppa, please take care of Lee Siyoung in the future... You two look great together... Forever Siwon and Siyoung...” Eunhyuk read out loud as he managed to grab the letters.
“Wow! You’re so lucky to get fan letters from other people’s fans. But what does ‘please take care of Lee Siyoung in the future’ mean? Is she your girlfriend Siwon? But I thought Kyuhyun was your wife?” Donghae innocently asked. Kyuhyun stood up and grabbed all the letters and roughly shoved them inside the bag.
“Don’t worry hyung. I know you know that I don't like to fight over fan letters so I’ll be taking care of these for you!” Kyuhyun walked away and asked one of the stylists for a lighter. “Donghae hyung!” Kyuhyun yelled before going out the door.
“How many times do I have to tell you that.. SIWONN ISSS MYYY WIIFFEEUU?!”
With the bag of letters and a lighter in hand, Kyuhyun furiously walked out of the practice room. Everyone in the room heard him yell. Some giggled; others were surprised while Siwon laughed.
“Any death wishes Siwon? You’re laughing like crazy while Kyuhyun is doing who-knows-what to those letters. You are so going to die today. Tsk.” Eunhyuk said. Siwon shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
“I think I like it when he’s jealous. He looks cute when he pouts and the way he walks out... Don’t worry. I know how to handle this.”
The blonde boy sighed as Siwon walked away. “That man’s going to be in a lot of trouble when he marries him.”
“Who’s getting married?” Eunhyuk almost had a heart attack as Donghae back hugged him.
“Hae don’t scare me like that! I thought you followed Kyuhyun! About what you heard, it’s still a secret. So do not tell anyone about this alright?” Donghae nodded in agreement.

Outside Kyuhyun was cursing and tearing the fan letters into shreds. He was supposed to light them on fire but a security staff told him to burn it outside the building so as to not ring the fire alarms.
“Yes dear fans~ Siwon oppa will take care of her forever. NOT.”
“Kyu! What are you doing there?”
“Just ridding the earth of unwanted evil letters.” Kyuhyun said as he turned to face the man who greeted him, Changmin.
“Ah. Siwon’s fan letters again?” Changmin chuckled. “You’re still not used to them huh? Just ignore them Kyu and you’ll be fine.”
Kyuhyun huffed as he tore the last piece of paper into pieces. “If these were for Hyukjae hyung then I’ll be fine. But these are for Siwon! And these fans!" Kyuhyun waved the pieces of paper in front of Changmin. "They're telling Siwon - my Siwon - to couple up with this girl!”
Changmin was about to laugh at Kyuhyun's childish acts but then he realized that Kyuhyun was seriously jealous, he felt his heart go out to Kyuhyun. “Don’t worry. Everything’s going to be fine. Let’s talk about this tonight. Wanna hang out with Minho and the others?”
Kyuhyun felt glad he has Changmin for a best friend. He was glad there was someone besides Super Junior members he could talk to and hang out with. “Sure. Oh, speaking of food.. I forgot my food boxes at the practice room! I’d better get them or else, a monkey and a fish would be feasting on them!” Kyuhyun tossed the pieces of paper into a trash bin, waved goodbye at Changmin and dashed along the hallways to the practice room.

“Hyung, there’s no way Siwon could do that!”
“Actually he can! And he will! Leeteuk hyung saw them!”
“But shouldn’t we just ask him about it? It’s a pretty sensitive issue and as a group we should consult each other... and they should also talk to the company!”
“I still think Siwon would use those rings and propose to Kyuhyun no matter what.”
“What did you say?”
Donghae almost bumped at Eunhyuk as he quickly turned around. Ryeowook put a hand on his mouth, surprised at the person who entered the dressing room.
“What do you mean by a proposal? Siwon? To me?” Kyuhyun asked. Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Ryeowook didn’t know what to say. It was supposed to be a surprise. Kyuhyun wasn’t supposed to know - everybody else wasn’t supposed to know about the proposal. How could they possibly cover this up. “I said what about this proposal? Is it true?!”
“K-Kyuhyun. Listen carefully. W-we didn’t mean t-to...”
“We were just.. thinking.. out loud. You know.. uh.. imagining things?” Eunhyuk and Ryeowook stuttered as they tried to cover up their slip up. Donghae stood nervously as Kyuhyun turned to face him.
“AHH! Fine!!! Hyukkie told me that Leeteuk hyung told him and Shindong hyung that Leeteuk hyung saw Siwon with engagement rings last week and so Leeteuk hyung thinks that Siwon is going to propose to you soon that’s why I had to tell Ryeowook because I think the whole team should be involved with this kind of things!!” Donghae confessed quickly.
“Siwon doesn’t know that we already know so could you just act like you’re surprised when he proposes to you?” Donghae added, breathing heavily.
“I..I can’t.” Kyuhyun said weakly.
“C-come on now Kyu! I think Siwon spent a lot of time picking out the right rings. Just act like you’re surprised, that’s all.” Eunhyuk pleaded. It would be bad if the proposal fails because of his - their - carelessness. Besides, he wants to see his friends end up happily together.
“You can just say ‘woww!’ then accept the rings!” Ryeowook added.
“But I cant’t!”
“What do you mean you can’t? It’s easy! Think of something surprising.. like Siwon in- ”
“I CAN’T!” Kyuhyun yelled. “I can’t accept his proposal! I can’t marry Siwon! I can’t because I don’t know how people would react! The company, the chairman, our fans... Our families!”
“Kyuhyun..”
“How would they react huh? Will they just accept us that easily? My father owns a university! His father owns companies! What would they say!”
“Kyu!”
“Why couldn’t he just be satisfied with what we have now? We eat together, sleep together, we even have sex! We’re basically living a married life! Why does he need to propose? What for? Marriage vows? I can’t do it! No. I just can’t.”
“Kyuhyun stop!” Ryeowook finally had the strength to yell at Kyuhyun. He pointed towards the door, to where Siwon was standing.
“H-hyung..” Kyuhyun stuttered. Siwon looked upset as he stood there not saying anything. "H-how long.. have you been there?"
"Since you yelled 'I can't.' "Siwon waved a hand and walked towards one locker. Tension filled the air and no one dared to move. Kyuhyun watched as Siwon took out a small box out of his locker.
“Don’t worry. I won’t be proposing. That would be too troublesome, right?” Siwon said as he pocketed the small box. He was restraining himself from bursting out in anger; he felt like crying out of hurt; he felt like shouting at Kyuhyun... he felt stupid.
“I.. I’ll be heading home now.” He looked at Kyuhyun. “You can ride with me if you want to. I can drop you off at the dorms.” Siwon went out of the room, not waiting for Kyuhyun to respond.
“Siwon! Hyung!” Kyuhyun ran out of the room to follow Siwon.
Ryeowook slumped back at the sofa, still thinking of what had just happened between Kyuhyun and Siwon. Should he tell this to Leeteuk? Their manager? But things would be more complicated if he does. Donghae sobbed next to Eunhyuk; the blonde man patted him on his back reassuringly.
“Hae don’t cry. It’s going to be fine. Everything’s going to be fine.”
“We should’ve..." Donghae sobbed. "We should have posted a ‘knock first’ sign on that stupid door!” He added as he continued to cry.
