this article and thought it was hilarious. Fairly short article, so if you're not feeling lazy, it's a quick read.
You know, it's always amusing when someone makes a tiny blight, not because you take fun in the fact that they screwed up, but because it's just funny that nobody caught it.
The article talks about a word error in a high school test. A standardized test that was checked by 30 teachers and tested in 50 different schools, and yet, nobody caught the error until this one kid.
The kid, Stanford, who caught it says
"But when I edit my own papers, I'm a stickler for grammar and vocabulary and the correct use of words," he said. "It annoys me when I see mistakes."
I'm the same way. I wonder if I would've caught the mistake? (I also, happen to be an IB student. Correlation?!!
Probably not, but makes it even funnier.)
