You guys might have heard this on your local news already, but we had a bird-related accident on one of our metro freeways in Portland today. Some moron couldn't manage to avoid hitting this very large bald eagle that had landed on the road to feed on carrion

The kids made me giggle. My coworker has a video clip somewhere of the kids at his property (they're probably full-grown now). Just as energetic.

Oh that's so sad about the eagle. I hadn't heard. Our zoo has two severely damaged eagles. One has only one wing, and I don't remember what happened to the other one. They are no less majestic, but man I feel awful that they're in that predicament.

Goats are such hilarious jerks.
