how do they decide if you can get surgery or not? i thought i saw you at kaiser the other day but was sick and unsure so i scurried away.

my insurance covered it based on the fact that i have extensive history of failing to lose weight with more conservative means, my bmi was over 40, and i had comorbidities.

i'm sorry you were sick. but it is probably good you scurried away as i was not at kaiser. i'm a sutter patient.
