Eeerrrmm...
I've not done an entry for quite a while, so I felt it about time I wrote one.....
..Just realise though, that the reason I've not done one is because nothing has actually happened. I'll keep writing, and hopefully think of something?.....
OK, we had a works do at the Comedy Store in town, that place is quite nice, leopard skin print sofa's, and another big cat skin, but I can't think of the name (clearly not real fur!, which is a good thing). The comics were quite good, as is the case with most, they were up and down at different points of their routine.
FREE BAR! Perhaps the two greatest words in the English language?! I say free...all lager and wine was free, so after one JD and coke, I decided I wasn't gonna pay for any more :) they had what they called a "casino", which consisted of a roulette and a blackjack table, which was quite entertaining (unfortunately, you couldn't win anything, I guess it stopped me from losing anything too though). Oooo, they had this HUGE cake too, in the shape of the number 100 (that'd be great for Sesame Street....did their numbers go that high?).
Other than that, not done much, downloaded some music - Camille, Mogwai, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Matisyahu, Rahzel, Sigur Ros, We Are Scientists, quite a nice mix really. I could do with some advice on other stuff to get, like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, I have no idea what to get from them?
Ooo, someone at work told me Mr.T released an album, I've been searching for that for a while, but can't really find it any where. Limewire doesn't have it anyway.
I've got an interview for Astrazenica on Thursday, I realise I've only been in my other job for under 2 months, but they do treat me like shit and the pay completely sucks! With my mum going on about moving to Turkey and leaving me to pay for stuff, I need to be earning more money. I would get a second job, but that'd mean working, when I could be sitting around doing nothing!
The place seems really nice, I did a practice run to the center, I have to be there for 8.15am so I need to know my way there. It's in the middle of the countryside in Alderly Edge, and it's apparently set in 400 acres of land! 300 of which is just woodland, fields and lakes. It's wierd, there's just sheep and horses walking around the place, might be cool to work somewhere like that.
Other points of interest to no-one:
I bought a set of drum sticks and a practice pad, to try to learn the drums. I've not used it as much as I should've, but it is rather fun, great for something to do when I'm bored. Should prolly get some lessons and have a go on actual drums though :s
I joined a gym, only been about 3 or 4 times so not much change (infact, none at all if I'm being honest!) but I do intend to go on a regular basis :) (doubt that'll come to fruition though - although with me paying for it, it might).
I stopped smoking, not for any particular reason, just wanted to see if I could, kinda got bored with it now. In the space of 9 days, I've had 2 smokes, and that was on the night out while drinking, so I think I've done ok.
I think I've managed to get a good entry in here, I would prefer it if I had some artwork, or photo's or generally something I'd done. I'm still saving for a camera, got my eye on a Canon S80, it's sooooo nice, bit expensive though, so the "HelpDan donation fund" is now accepting all offers being given.
