Contrary to popular belief, Remus hasn't disappeared off the face of the earth. He's simply disappeared into the library (for a few months -- because this is Remus), which is where he can currently be found, happily immersed in a large book of Poe's short stories. Feel free to bother, poke, and/or ask him questions.

Because we'd mentioned once having them talk... here's Arabella Strange. And while she's far too nineteenth century polite to interrupt, she will take a seat and try to crane her neck in such a way as to peer unobtrusively at the cover of his book.

Remus looks over and gives her a polite, slightly shy smile. "Good afternoon, miss."

Arabella starts, then calmly straightens. "Good day, sir."

He sets the book down, offering her a hand to shake. "I don't believe we've met? I'm Remus Lupin."

Here's a Johanna wandering by, twirling a blonde curl around her finger as she looks at the tall shelves in awe. She spots Remus amidst the book and timidly approaches him. "Excuse me? What are you reading?"

"Poe," he smiles and looks up. "Good evening, miss."

"Good evening, sir," she replies, curtsying. "Is he a poet? I do love poetry so very much!"

"Well, he's written poems, but he's generally known for his short stories."

Harry happens to be in the library on a mission from Draco and spies Remus. "Hi there."

Remus looks up and grins, closing the book. "Hallo, Harry!"

He grins back. "Hi. D'you live in here now? Haven't seen you around for ages."

"I've been about." He looks mildly affronted, but it's teasing. "Though I suppose I have been in here a while now. Sirius will be wondering if I've gotten eaten, or something."
