HELP.
I accidentaly deleted every photo I ever took in 2007 and then emptied the trash before I realized what I'd done.
I'm freaking out.
Is there a way to get them back? I tried Photorec but it found everything I've ever deleted EXCEPT for those.
PLEASE HELP :(

I don't know how to help you but I can empathize:

My boss "accidentally" dropkicked my external HD and I lost all the photos I did in the last half of 2007 (a day before my backup HD arrived).

It was like losing 4500+ children.

it's devastating. all the photos of my senior year of high school and my backpacking trip through europe are gone.

it's a program which recovers everything ever deleted from your hard drive. i had high hopes for it but it only recovered a few of the photos i'd accidentally deleted and a shit ton from the person who owned the hard drive before me.

If you have a mac and only deleted then from iphoto, then they should still be in your photo. Cache. Look under your library in photos and hopefully they are there, if not or you don't have a mac, there HAS to be a way to get them back. I'llask around for you!

hey this is isaac. there is one possibility on a pc. turn your computer completely off and then back on again, and go to the setup screen. Normally this is done by hitting F4, but sometimes its escape. And some computers are finicky as far as when you hit it, so you may have to try a few times. Then you can try to boot windows under its "last known safe settings." this might work, but, if you have the option, some computers allow for you to boot to a specific time/date, so that is safer. best of luck!

oh i wish. i saved everything to an external hard drive so i doubt it would recover them.
thank you though, isaac.

Did you only try one? Most of them are freeware.
