Sirius Grin Downtime

Sep 05, 2008 23:49

This is based off an email scene I did with one of my old ST's. The scene has been completely re-written into a more suitable cinematic format. I got a bug up my ass to write, and hadn't done so in awhile, so I figured I'd take advantage of the inspiration.

The character involved is Sirius Grin, my Changeling PC. For more info on Sirius visit my Read more... )

Awesome!!!

I usually don't like reading character fiction but that rocked.

Thanks dude :)

So tell me, is it clear that Charlie is dreaming the entire chase up until the end? I'm thinking I need to add some clarity on that piece...

I thought it was pretty clear.

When I put one of my childhood horrors in my own work, I had no idea he'd escape and find his way into circles I don't occupy. Like a disease, he's spread out. He is a meme, after all. Escaped from the pages of No Loyal Knight, Thirty, Schauermarchen, and Houses of the Blooded.

(Although, one of his avatars did appear in the Cam Club for about twenty minutes. But, he wasn't happy there and left them to their own petty devices.)

*chuckles*

Yeah, The Grinning Man's name was directly inspired from Mr. Finger, though not to worry, I don't believe anything else in Sirius Grin's mannerisms or character will reflect the devious Tzimitze we all know and... well, loathe.

I'm sure there are other Grinning Men out there, too. It's just amazing how quickly memes spread, mutate, and adapt.
