(no subject)
Good lord it's been forever since I posted anything here, huh? I'm sure most of you thought I was never coming back, and to be honest, now that I've had time to think things over I've decided on some changes:
1. Friends cut - I haven't done it yet, but my flist has gotten ridiculous and it needs some major pruning. This is mostly for the people who've friended me that I still don't recognize, or people that I simply haven't talked to in forever. If you want to stay, leave a comment and tell me so!
2. Fics - as of this point, I will no longer be writing fics. I've stopped reading them, with exceptions for my favorite authors, but I think it's simply a part of my life that I've grown out of. If you friended me for my writing (although heaven knows why anyone would do that since I hardly wrote anything to begin with), this is probably your cue to gracefully bow out, no hard feelings. This is going to be strictly my "fanfom" journal from now on, which means that only squeeing, reviews and ranting will go here from now on. It's not like I really keep a "RL" journal to begin with, so y'all really aren't missing out on anything.
3. Chay/Eryn, I haven't entirely decided yet but I really think I'm going to have to leave YZDX - not because I don't love you girls (and trust me, I do!) but I simply don't enjoy it anymore, plus my other time commitments don't leave me much time for uploading. I'll still be a comm member and I'd love to discuss music with you guys here, but I don't think that being an uploader is something I really want to do anymore.
4. Chay/Eryn/Manda, I'd like your college addresses so I can mail you girls things - you can PM me or something, since I'm not screening comments on this entry. You don't have to if you don't want to, of course, but you're all starting college and I want to send you girls care packages. :P
5. I'm going to do a big music-talk post soon because OMG SO MUCH NEW STUFF I DON'T EVEN HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO LISTEN TO IT ALLLLLL! But for the hip-hop fans, go listen to Drunken Tiger's new album RIGHT NOW because it is amaaaaaazing. Everything else I will get to soon.
6. Any RPers within you guys? Genkan Gakuen is opening up apps on the 15th, and I'm one of the mods! It's Harry Potter magic meets Japanese school, and it's going to be awesome. :D
