Here's why I never put faith in academicians. I wrote an e-mail inquiring about picking up two courses that I sent yesterday morning:

You're not unemployeed... you're a man of leasure. (I've been glass half-fulling lately, sorry if I sound like a Hallmark card) However, that sucks that you got booted out of your job, but I'm more the sure of your outstanding abilities, so you'll find something soon.
