Help Please

I painstakenly spent an hour changing the required information. But when I applied it I have no picture at the top and none of the sidebars. What am I doing wrong? Eveything else came out perfect but that one detail. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Maybe even fix it for me..if possible.

Did you save the pictures and put in the correct url code for them?

I saved all the images on one of my geocities accounts. And I double checked all the urls. Suppose I could check again but I did everything in note pad and went over it like mad to make sure it was all right.

Have you tried using Geocities for this before? I don't think Geocities lets you hotlink from their site, and that's probably the problem. You could try http://www.photobucket.com instead

Yep, geocities does not allow hotlinking. However you can bypass that by changing your file extensions to .txt

When that happens, it's because i don't have a website listed...try that!

It is because you don't have a website listed in your user information (manage >> info). AS the layout instructions say, if you don't list any kind of website there, the layout won't work. I have no idea why that is, but some kind of LJ rule. Try that and see if it works.

As soon as I put in my website it appeared. Should have known it was something so simple. Much thanks to everyone who helped me figure this out.
