Simply, *big hugs* because I can completely empathize with a lot of what you're going through.

It sounds like your mom is clinically severely depressed- can you talk her into seeing a counselor and getting some medication? Excessive hoarding of Stuff is a symptom of mental illness ( ... )

Thanks for the advice. =o) It's my dad who hoards stuff, though. Not my mom. (The "she" in the first paragraph was referring to my dad's aunt.) In fact, my dad's hoarding is one of the primary reasons my mom is depressed. And she actually has tried sneaking out boxes of stuff to the dumpster or to be donated. She's been pretty successful with most of it, but if my dad ever realizes he's missing something, he gets REALLY upset about it. I don't think having a photo album would be enough for him. =oP He's more worried that the stuff might be worth something or might come in useful later.

Moon, I also have to deal with parents that don't understand any of it and don't WANT to. They think it is evil. And yes, I've had to sneak around my share of times as well. I really don't know what to do. If I tell them outright, I have this horrible feeling that they would disown me.

I don't sneak around at all. I'm pretty direct with them about my beliefs and my activities. Luckily they're not completely against it and wouldn't try to stop me from following this path. I just don't feel they really understand it or fully support it. What did your parents think about the Gatherings then? Did they know it was Jedi-related?

Also, now that I've been instructed in how to do long distance healing, I can work on your sister if you'd like. I need her to e-mail me giving me permission, though. And I also need a detailed description of what she'd like me to work on. Then I'll let her know when I'll be working on her. She doesn't need to do anything special on her end. She can just go about her every day activities like usual.

Moon, my parents dont understand it at all. I've tried explaining it to them, and all I get is wierd looks like I'm crazy or something. And no, they didn't know it was Jedi-related. Did i mention my sister in another entry? I forget... I will let her know to email you :)

So what did they think the Gathering was? =oP And yep, you asked me try some distance healing on sister in another entry and gave me a link to her picture. I don't really need a picture, but I do need to know her name. Is it the same as the file name for the picture?

I told them I was going to hang out with a bunch of friends over break. And yes, her name is Sharra :) She said it would be awesome if you could work on her :) She is Type II Diabetic, and has other health complications at the present time.

K, I'm going away this weekend, but I'll see if I can work on her sometime next week. Any chance you can give me her e-mail address or ask her to contact me at Moonshadowlight5@yahoo.com? Thanks!
