you really might want to get your finger checked by a doctor. I know it sucks, but you risk really messing it up if it is. I broke my toe last fall, and didn't realize I had at first. But it turns out I had, and luckily it stayed in place. However if I'd just ignored it and banged it again it would have meant surgery. So do yourself the favor and find a clinic that's cheaper and have it xrayed. If it's broken you'll be thanking yourself. Good luck!

The problem is I don't have any medical insurance right now since I'm no longer a full time student, and I probably won't start working until October. I'll check around, though, and see if there's some place I can afford. The finger doesn't have any abnormal movement, though. It just has a really painful end range of motion and that wierd bump. I'll see what happens once I get back from this weekend.
