Done. . . I hope

Wednesday November 2, 2005 ~11:00 pmWell, I took my exam today. Wasn’t nervous at all. More just resigned. I figure it’s out of my hands at this point. Either I pass or I don’t. It could really go either way. And I’m ok either way. I just really don’t want to let anyone down. Everyone at work wished my luck yesterday. I mean everyone. All ( Read more... )

Wow... that's a very long test. And I thought my 180 questions for national registray is bad. lol. How long did you have to go to school for this?

The TBI unit is over in one of the other buildings right? One of the calls I remember most was out of there. The staff was incredably helpful and nice, which is um, hard to find. What unit do you work on now? (just curious cuz I'm nosey :P lol)

I had to get a Bachelor's degree, and then go to school for another three years, year round. Some schools are a bit shorter, like two and a half years. And there are others that let you go straight through in five years without a Bachelors. I think those are being phased out, though since the physical therapy degree is being changed from a Masters to a Doctorate at most schools. Don't even know if they're available any more ( ... )

Ah. That's a lot of school. but hey, it sounds like you've got job security if you pass! That's very cool. So if I brought in a trauma patient, they might end up with you for rehab?

Maybe, but it depends what kind of trauma. And yep, all the staff I've met so far are really great. =o)

I'm glad you at least have this much behind you! Even if you didn't pass, you now know exactly how it works, so you can study better and relax even more cause you practiced :-) plus, keeping your job is nice. At least you know you have a stable job no matter what, and once you pass (hopefully you did, I say you did hehe) then you know they like you and are stable there.

By the way, I'm going to defer to you on the gathering dates. I don't care either way, and I say whatever weekend is cheaper for tickets, we go with. So if you can do a quick search at cheaptickets or travelocity and just let me know which is cheaper, then we'll go with that. Cause quite simply you're the only person who cares I think hahahaha

Good job getting this far with your test and stuff. Enjoy the feeling of being done for now :-)
