Late Christmas
I finally, finally got the last chapters of my Secret Santa giftee's posted this morning. ( It's here. ) -
Urgh. Or Pittsburgh. No, that's tomorrow.
In to work tonight, straight out to Pittsburgh tomorrow for my first live Nutcracker. It's supposed to be sunny and well above freezing. I hope so; I'll need to find a place to catnap in the car, and for that I need to be a bit warmer than I am now. I have seen the Great Bear looking into a window, we have debated running down an indifferent mulie (red meat for... a year or so?), AND seen Harry Potter in IMAX....
In other words, greetings from the shadow of Pikes Peak. I'm out visiting the family. We're watching the San Francisco Nutcracker from last year. -

Got out of work this morning and did something impromptu (and free....) I found the park- and- hiking- trails for some big rocks I've seen from the road all my life, near where I work. Big limestone pillars, with very nice views from a few developed overlooks, and some steep and unofficial paths that I probably shouldn't have investigated without ( Read more... )
