i'm not the pretty girl, the tough girl, or the most charming one
Uhm... huh? You're gorgeous, smart as hell, I can think of tons of people who want to hang out with you, and you're stronger than many more people than aren't.
Don't sell yourself short. You're better than that.
*poke* Not selling myself short silly head. When i think in terms of 'icons' there are a few people who stand out as 'the pretty one', 'the tough-as-nails one', or 'the funny one'...
i don't think i'm unattractive. i know i'm smart, sometimes even brilliant. i'm not a great cook but i can whip up some pretty tasty meals. on occasion i can churn out pretty cool sewing projects. Every once in a while my mind has amazing philosophical insights.
I'm with Keith. I always thought you were a knockout of beauty and brains myself. One of the few people up there I regret not keeping in as good of touch with over the years. So there.
You're one of the few people i resonated and felt a connection with pretty much right away... and i think it was because we could totally geek out with each other. (faeries for the win, you know it)
And yeah, you're one of the people down south-a-ways i regret not keeping in touch with as much, you and the Lyds both. If i can scrounge up your email from my hundreds of floating files i'll drop you a line sometime soon, see if we can't scrounge up some geeky mythology buff chat again
You know where I stand on this. Six years of friendship, and two years, three months, twenty days with you by my side that I would not trade for anything. I look forward to many many more.
At the very first SOLAR one-shot: You to me: "Your makeup looks amazing."
That one little AIM conversation where i sent you a kissy-face icon to help make you feel better...
tiny little moments that changed our path huh?
You know what i love about us? We're not meant to be together, there are no winds of fate or binds of destiny holding us to each other. There's nothing written in the stars, you are not 'my one and only', any more than i am yours.
we are because we choose to be. and i think that makes us better than any 'meant to be' that came before. i love you, my snarly male.
