How horrible! You poor thing :( I hope the meds are helping. I have never had vertigo, but it sounds really unpleasant. Hugs to you! My weekend was full of laziness and was far too short.

vertigo is worse than dizziness. it's like having to be pressed against the floor in order to stop the world from spinning so fast. glad your weekend was lazy, those can be the best ones. *hugs* i hope this week is a good one for you.

Owwww!
So sorry for you Roni!

Garlic, consumed in great amounts.
Also peel and slice a few cloves in half.
Open a new bottle of Virgin olive oil and place the cloves in a mug, cover with some oil and let sit overnight.
In the morning, place 2-3 drops in each ear after warming to body temperature and continue to do so three times a day for a few days. Ahhhh, the relief!

(I have done this with my kids several times over the years, as antibiotics are generally not an option I embrace unless all else fails.

Good luck, sweet Roni, and know that I am sending you healing thoughts and blessings!

we are definately on the same page with this one. oddly enough, i just bought a package of garlic supplements last night when i got off work. as soon as i was able to hold down some food i started taking it. i have mullien infused oil going in my ears atm. i really hope that i can transplant my mullien when we move this late spring/summer.
(I have done this with my kids several times over the years, as antibiotics are generally not an option I embrace unless all else fails.not doing any antibiotics at the moment. the doc gave me some stuff to help with the motion sickness and told me to start taking Afrin to help with the sinus infections. i felt a bit like a hypocrit this morning as all i cared about was the world to stop spinning so that my stomach would settle, while the doc was actually concerned with the cause. total opposite of what i normally 'preach' heh ( ... )

I think the best thing would be to just give yourself a day or so to dry out those tiny inner ear passages before attempting any kind of complicated movements! Crazy woman.

Backslide.
(I'll backslide you!)

If you must, get on the floor and spread those luscious legs and stretch out like that, or possibly on your back and stretch and hold various positions there. Close to ground so you don't need balance. Crazy, wild woman. :)Backslide. Oy!

i still can't even try to do most of the yoga moves even for beginners (which is where i consider myself). with out cable we have this thing called the magrack, which offers free physical fitness videos that changes each month. i was able to do about 10 minutes of the walkaerobics, before i couldn't do the pace cuz it made the head bobble too much.
i'm going to try to do some of the sitting postures, today. even a few minutes is better than none at this point. thanks hun.
