I love your take on how everything developed after the crash. That they both were in coma (now that Marissa is awake), means that it's like time hasn't moved forward for neither of them, and in a way I like that. It's great that you put a bit of Kirsten in this story as well, and you really showed how a loving mother she is.
I hope you continue soon, I'm interested to see where you take this!
