Nikita and TVD Reaction mini-posts (spoilers!)
NIKITA: I kept hoping all episode that Nikita and Ryan would hook up - and hey presto! - she kissed him. :) Birkhoff was right on target with the mini-Ethan Hawke quip. When did Fletcher get so hot? Nikita badly needs to start a harem. She has amazing chemistry with everyone. I loved hers and Michael’s synchronized fighting. Of course, the best parts were the Alex/Nikita scenes. I heart, heart, heart Nikita offering Alex her life back and Alex turning it down. Alex’s Dad sort of reminded me of a more affectionate Jack Bristow. I’m guessing that flashback!Alex must have been played by an actress related to L.F., if not her sister because the resemblance was uncanny.
TVD: I almost cried when Rose died. For a character that ended up being ignominiously fridged, they wrote a very moving death scene for her. Of course, I was rolling my eyes by the end of how Rose’s death was essentially an excuse to have Damon go through his Wangst and revert back to type. I’m fed up with this show killing off interesting and powerful female vampires. And did they really have the first guy Rose kill be a black cleaning man? I saw what you did there. No Bonnie. Caroline’s own love triangle has kicked off very unambiguously. Yes, I keep track of these things. O o.
