I just got my "Congratulations" letter from the Arizona State Bar. All my paperwork is done. I cleared the background check. I'm an attorney!! Or I will be once I pay the fees and swear my oath (by mail or in person). Now the question is whether I want to take up some judge's time to swear my 20 second oath or just do it by mail. I agree with Natalie! Go get that memory burned into your brain!!! It will only happen once in your lifetime!!

Nice! :) I concur with the above, but for different reasons: Hobnobbing is a good thing, especially if you're going to get into criminal law. Getting to know the judges and getting your face recognized as often as you can is probably helpful.

Congratulations!

Go swear in person. Even if the judge was bothered (which I find unlikely), it is a minute out of his time for a memory that will last you the rest of your life.
