This weekend I went to La Center, Washington in order to spend some time with my aunt and uncle. This small farm-casino town is about twenty minutes north of Vancouver. Anyway, I had a great time. One of my company's vendors sent our office a King Cake, a special cake that is made for Mardi Gras parties. A small toy is hidden inside the cake and the person who finds the toy, and doesn't break a tooth, is considered to be King for the day. Went to a Cam game on Friday night. It was fun. On Saturday I went to an Everett Changeling game, which was also rather fun. I met a woman today who has fourteen children, all of whom she birthed herself. I never dreamed that this was possible. Geez! What was she thinking??? I can understand wanting a large family, with maybe five children, but FOURTEEN? Insanity!
