Mom update

It's fairly good news. Mom was moved into ICU on Monday. She is still on the respirator but is stable and apparently responding to antibiotics. It turns out that her main problem at the moment is really bad pneumonia. When they has that cleared up, they can take her off the respirator. But they say that that won't be happening anytime soon.

I'm sure it is very, very hard to see your mom that way. But I'm glad your uncle thinks she's doing well. I hope very much that when they take her off the respirator, there is no evidence of a stroke.

And I'm glad your other brother and his wife came, too. There's nothing like the support of your family to help keep you going when things are tough.

Thanks, the support helps a lot. So does you kick ass writing so I have decided that this weekend I'm going to catch up on your writing. I'm thinking the Chlark and Clex smut/fluff (especially the Chlark smut/fluff) will help cheer me up.

I'm so glad you posted, I was wondering how your mom was doing. It's good to hear that she is more stable and it must be a great help to have your uncle translate all that jargon.

It's good to hear that you have family around you as well. It makes all the difference and a pouting 29 year old brother sounds like a lot of fun ;)

Thanks. Yeah, his pouting was great. He had the full bottom lip going.
