Yay!
So mom is out of the hospital and as good as new (thank God). She had bronchitis that was aggravating her asthma. Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts, they helped a lot. -
Freaking Out!!!
My dad just called for an ambulance for my mom. She is having trouble breathing, they think it's pneumonia. Last time this happened, she was put in a medically induced coma for two weeks and was on a ventilator for two months. She is no where near as bad this time, in fact we called so she would get care before it gets that bad. Even knowing ( Read more... ) -
Freaking Season Finales
Stupid Grey's Anatomy's!!! I have gone three years without watching this show, then I watch the season finale. I am now in the midst of a GA marathon, stupid show. I also have to start watching House again after watching the finale. Crap. -
People are rude
I don't understand why people I don't know think it's alright to call my dog fat when they bump into me on the street when I'm walking her. This random woman and her boyfriend stop me on the street tonight to pet my French Bulldog Elly and says "Cute Boston Terrier, kinda chunky though." WTF! It's rude. I GOT A JOB!!!
I got hired today!! The job is only until the middle of April but still, yay. I start on Wednesday. I'm working at SFU calling alumni for donations to the school. I'm not exactly looking forward to asking people for money but I get paid whether the people donate or not, which is good. I've also applied at the Vancouver Library to be a book ( Read more... ) -
The Olympics
I saw the Olympic Torch today as it passed through New Westminster on its way to Vancouver. Kind of anti-climactic but at least I can say I say it. Another Olympic bonus is the fact the my university closes down for two weeks starting next week as SFU wants to cash in and is converting the student parking into pay parking and running shuttles to ( Read more... ) -

Movie Time!!
My dad is taking me to see a double feature of Sherlock Holmes and New Moon tonight, two movies we both really want to see. I'm excited, I haven't been to the movies with my dad in a long time. -
Finally!!
I just finished and handed in my last paper of the semester. Man this semester blew. All of my papers seemed to have been clumped together. I had to write two 5-page, one 8-page and one 10-page in one week, the 8 and 10 page papers being due on the same freaking day. I think my brain is now officially broken.
