Leopard and backups..

Nov 05, 2007 21:22

So, this was kind of touched on earlier...

But how do you go about backing up your data. on my old windows machine, I would litterally have to back up everything one file at a time, and I know apple is more sophistocated than that. so, how do I go about backing up data?

Oh, and any recs for a good External HD?

Thanks!!!

External hard drives, too many to name, both good and bad. Go with any name brand over non-name. Most of the actual drives inside the plastic casings of external hard drives are made by the same five companies. Basically if it's sold at fry's it's probably okay. As with all computer stuff, keep them cool and dry and out of any direct sunlight.

Leopard is that new trendathon by apple if i remember correctly. I wouldn't be too surprised if it had its own built-in thing, but i wouldn't know. My friend Mr. G tells me that there's something called "leopard time machine". Ask Mr. G yourself and youtube it; surely a whole bunch of trendsters posted videos about it/how to use it.

And also in the tune of Beethoven's famed 5th

lindsay is gaaaay~~~
