homosexuality thoughts...

i've always wondered if maybe homosexuality (which i have total support for) is part of an evolutionary response against overpopulation. like when a beehive becomes too crowded and the female drones lose the scent of their queen, they become breeders and move out with some of the hive. maybe the "unnatural" act of homosexuality, which does not ( Read more... )

I'm personally unsure whether or not that is true. The reason why I have some doubts is that in animal species there is homosexuality too, including, if I recall correctly, rare species. In fact, I think that one of the few California Condors left in captivity is homosexual. And that condors, as we all know, was very endangered. But I don't really claim to know for certain obviously. But that's something to think about at least.

How come the gene hasnt died out, since gay people dont reproduce, how could the gene keep carrying? and stay so abundant? Im curious.
