You know that it doesn't. It's irritating and frustrating that such is the case, but there it is.

As for the rest of that argument...well, I've never understood some people's thinking that they need heavy weapons anyway. The only thing that I can think of is that it's the same mentality that drives computer processor speeds: bigger is better! I can't use all that I have now, but this one is faster, so it's gotta be better!

I can find ways to push my processor hard but no, nothing especially sustained. I do understand what you're getting at, though.

Remember that I've seen a machine that's well-maintained and pretty aggressively tuned beat by 60% or more a computer that with twice the hardware specs (literally) was being slowed by a bloated configuration that was eating a lot in the way of memory and CPU cycles. It's not just what you have, it's how you use it.
