People talked & they didn't listen. People showed raw data & they didn't believe it. People pointed to warning signs & they ignored them.
Now, it is too late. The earth's climate is changing too quickly to stop. Even if we stopped all greenhouse gas emissions completely - the damage has already been done. The polar ice caps are melting at an exponentially increasing rate. 23 miles of ice melted in 1996. 53 miles of ice melted last year alone. The polar ice caps will be GONE in 50 years at this rate, but I suspect that date will be sooner. We are caught in a feedback loop of death, on the global scale.As a result, the world you were born into, will never be the same. Billions upon billions of dollars spent each year on war, and the earth is dying underneath our feet.
The sun is out. Spring is in the air. Flowers are starting to poke their heads out of the ground. I'm very, very sad.
