For those of you who are still being nosy, the post on May 27th had nothing to do with crouchback. I was angry with someone else. Stop assuming that I was angry with him. If y ou notice, I don't put that sort of thing on my LJ.
That possibility never occurred to me. If nothing else your phraseology "[he] saw me angry" implies he came upon you when you were angry, not that he made you angry.
yeah, more or less. He still doesn't let me examine his nose, so I think he's pertty tender still. I suspect he will have a scar. Thankfully his show career has not ended because of the scar.
Turns out, crouchback was upstairs. Swag was in the family room with my father, the visiting dog, and the visiting dog's owner. Swag was behaving beautifully. He was in a classic play bow position, tail wagging, doing his utmost best to invite this pretty little girl dog to play with him. Then with no warning whatsoever, she whips around and bites his face. She did NOT show bite inhibition. That is, she didn't just warn him with a flash of teeth, she drew blood. Even when Swag is with dogs that he picks a fight with (it has to do with his having balls and wanting to put the smack down on everyone and be the top dog) and he flashes his teeth and makes lunges at them, he NEVER EVER breaks skin
