when i was living in senegal, i always planned it so that i never had to go poo at a squat toilet.

which meant i never went at r's parents' house, and because r's grandparents were so old (mid-80s) they had a toilet bowl in their loo so they wouldn't have to squat all the way down.

i've never been to the townships here, so i don't know what the deal is.
