My nerve block didn't work. I'm going to see if they can do a different kind, but I don't know if they will. This just adds to my stress and fear that this is never going to feel better, ever.
What a thing to have to go through! I wish it weren't so.
I find I am extra scared about things at night, when there is nothing else to think about and my perceptions are all weird from being half-asleep. I recently noticed my father, who has trouble sleeping, has a little speaker that is designed to go in under his pillow in some way so he can listen to music or talk radio at night without bothering anyone else. Maybe this would help?
I can't hear it. It needs to be really loud for me to hear parts of music, loud enough to hurt other people's ears. My threshold of hearing is the threshold of pain for people with normal hearing. But thanks for the suggestion. I'm often too stressed to be able to get into a book, because I read a bit and I'm not really reading it, so when I go back to the book it makes no sense. So I have to start over from the last place I was. Which is annoying. But the net is brainless so I can whittle away the time I can't sleep clicking around.
