Here is hoping that you have many happy days watching them grow up.

Did your wrens raise more than one family this year? How is your garden doing this year?
Those of us here at LJ haven't heard from you in a long while now--how are things going for you?
I'm finally able to spend a bit more time indoors and on the computer now that the watering season is here.

Hello. :) I'm still alive and things for me are going okay. I don't think the wrens raised any more this year- it doesn't seem like it and the wren house has been quiet for some time now. The garden is filled with weeds, but my Cup Plant is in bloom. I pretty much stay in the house when not at work, and go out when I need to- like today I went to the store and then stayed inside the house after I got home the rest of the day.

It has been so hot this summer. I don't blame you for staying inside. I do only what I must outside--the watering--because it's either that or lose everything I've worked so hard to do this year.

Couldn't help wondering how your garden is getting along this summer. My garden is finally becoming worthy of the name I think, but Heaven have mercy what I lot of hard work I had to do last summer to get it there.
Won't you please come back to LJ?

Hi, Rhodielady. :) My garden is doing its own thing right now. I really have stopped tending to it. The front porch garden has disappeared and the flowerbeds are weeds, but also still have some lovely flowers. I'm on a break from LJ and gardening right now as a coping method for dealing with my full-time job which seems to overshadow the rest of my life. Who knows how long I'll be out of LJ. Maybe when I retire from the workforce? LJ was about gardening and things that are special to me, but my job is like a monster always staring me in the face and forcing me away from the quiet house and back into the reality of the world's tedious, bustling ways. I want out, but am not in a position to leave it all and to permanently embrace the world where the unicorns, gnomes and fairies reside.

I feel for you. I'm not much for the outside world either.
Is there any chance of you finding a job elsewhere that might be more tolerable?
