God, they're just both so broken, and need each other so badly - which makes the situation only that much worse, because on the next orn everything might repeat again.
Jazz's pleading really cuts to the heart. He *needs* Prowl enough to lose any pretense and pride and to start just begging. And we're talking here about a bot who probably wouldn't start begging during torture.
It makes we wonder what Optimus knows about them, about their situation and nights like these... or do they hide it all too well? I suppose they could really hide it all too well, so that no one might suspect.
This universe makes me so sad. Because it feels like it's set on eternal repeat until one of them dies and the other shatters completely on their guilt.
But yeah, wonderful work. I love to read it again and again.

I already commented on Facebook, but this is just too good that I can't stop from doing it again!! It's just so heart breaking, seeing them like this. But, it's also very sobering, considering most fanfics have them all happy and mushy, entirely forgetting that this is a war and many of their friends have died, very likely BECAUSE of them; either a mission that just could get a better success rate but was absolutely necessary or that they simply couldn't help them.

I like being able to see this side to them, even if it makes me sad. But, this only means that when I read the good sides I can appreciate them a whole lot more. ^_^

*takes off sober face and puts on srs face* Now that THAT'S out of my chest...when are you going to update Phenomenon?? I'm dying over here!! T_T *sniffles*

Tragic and compelling. They can't seem to help themselves, and they're being consumed by these circumstances. Needing and craving but feeling guilty for it. Well done.

What war makes one do...breaking a litle bit every day...wow, this is heartbreaking!! At least they have each other to hold on to in those moments when it all falls apart. They both feel like they are killing the ones they love the most, but they are just kogs in the great war. Prowl's last line gives me shivers...what is he really thinking of being driven to?
