Live from Whole Foods

Mar 09, 2006 19:12

Sitting at Whole Foods (on the upper-level eating area, which happens to be the best spot in the place) eating indian food and munching on Jalapeno-stuffed olives while I surf the internets.

Having something like this to look forward to makes sitting through two hours of calculus seem almost bearable.

During undergrad I had a professor barely capable of speaking proper English teaching PreCalculus. Trying to understand her alone was a process. Ended up with a C+ in her class, but the process was definitely painful to say the least.

Heh. My precal teacher was the same way. Kinda sucked until I finally figured out what she was saying when she said certain words.

Two whole hours? Wow. You deserve dessert, too.

Whole Foods?

Heh, yeah you need to have something else to keep you going through Calc, huh? I had mine at 8am in the morning... ugh. I am so glad that's over :)

Whole Foods is a hippie food supermarket that has a really big prepared-food section. Half grocery store, half restaurant. All tasty.

Apparently, we have one around here-- which I didn't know! But we passed it on the way out to dinner the other day. But the people I was with said they didn't think ours necessarily had a restaurant or anything in it... but then again, I think they either hadn't been in there, or it had been quite a while.
