Much to my delight, the annoyance of the toddler riding to work with one of his parents on the same bus I usually ride in the morning has resolved itself just as suddenly as it first appeared. I once got really annoyed on a train by some guy that wouldn't stop talking loudly into his phone and laughing even louder. I pulled out my phone, opened it like I was answering a call, and started talking about sex in the most flamingly gay femme voice I could muster. I even made lewd comments while looking at the guy, like "Yeah, I'm on a train. Oh, nearby? Well, this one's okay. Kinda husky, with brooding eyes. You'd like him." etc etc.

He looked at me warily and moved to the next car. I got thank-yous from a couple people nearby, and my friend I was riding with was doubled over in laughter.

Well, I spent most of the night working on calculus, but eliset came home from work with cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory, so it was all good. :)
