That's awesome. Hooray for cycling!

My new job puts me at 13 km one way (30 minutes), and I'll be doing that five days a week. I wouldn't have dreamed of being able to do that a few years ago.

How do you find the roads for cycling in Austin? I consider ourselves spoiled here with a large number of dedicated cycle lanes on many roads around the city. My route to work is probably 80% cycle lanes. Do you have to do a lot of winding around neighborhoods?

Cool beans!

BTW I found a way to motivate myself to simply do more exercises at home which made them less boring and more useful than "merely" keeping one's body healthy... listen to something useful while exercising (whatever "useful" might mean for you; e.g. for me it is listening to a Polish lesson or an Esperanto podcast...)

If you have the money for a good handheld GPS you can try geocaching. You get some biking/walking done in search of something interesting.

You got all the way to the Arboretum and didn't pop in to my office to say hi? (you know we're in that building behind Fresh Choice)
